Earthwalk
An Earthwalk is a program which helps people of all ages build a sense of relationship in both feelings and understandings of the natural world. This half day experience will take you into a very diverse forest ecosystem. Participants will get to know nature's subtleties: the worlds underfoot, the wonders often overlooked and the micro-marvels seldom discovered. You will re-awaken your individual senses and sharpen your perceptions through adventure, role play, sharing and doing.
Getaway includes:
- "being one with nature" in our Energy Star home with all the extras
- half day Earthwalk (water, holistic snack included)
- 3 nights/4 days ... third night is FREE
Weekend Price:
- Home rental (6 people max.) — $599.00
- Earthwalk — $30.00 per person
Snowshoeing/Earthwalk
Experience the peacefulness and exhilaration that snowshoeing can offer while "walking on earth" building a sense of relationship in both feelings and understandings of the natural world. Snowshoeing is truly a vehicle for living more lightly while developing a connectedness with our natural ecosystems.
Getaway includes:
- "being one with nature" in our Energy Star home with all the extras
- half day Earthwalk on snowshoes plus instruction
- 3 nights/4 days ... third night is FREE
Weekend Price:
- Home rental (6 people max.) — $599.00
- Snowshoeing/Earthwalk — $30.00 per person

Ice Fishing
Grass Lake is known for its good fishing ... especially pickerel and pike in the winter. Josh, my son-in-law, is the expert! You will have a choice of fishing in a comfortable heated hut or outside. Incredible fishing techniques will be shared with you for an experience that is unique, exciting and "loads of fun".
Getaway includes:
- "being one with nature" in our Energy Star home with all the extras
- all equipment, bait, instruction and assistance (if required) reeling in the big one(s)
- filleting fish caught and a recipe for cooking that night
- possibility of skating to the hut depending on snow and ice conditions
- half day (p.m.) experience with refreshments provided
- 3 nights/4 days ... third night is FREE
Weekend Price:
- Home rental (6 people max.) — $599.00
- Ice fishing — $60.00 per person
